Welcome to USOMI LIMITED. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services including Lulu (Paperless Data Collection), Rubi (Produce Aggregation & Market Sourcing), Nutrigren Solutions, and the Kukunyumbani Initiative. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Lulu Platform: Provides digital data collection, farm management tools, and decision support systems for smallholder farmers across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Rubi Platform: Offers virtual produce aggregation and market sourcing services, connecting farmers with buyers through competitive bidding processes.
Nutrigren Solutions: Delivers end-to-end agricultural support for Red Sorghum, Finger Millet, and Pulses cultivation including seed supply, technical training, and market access.
Kukunyumbani Initiative: Supports indigenous chicken farmers through mother unit programs, feed supply, veterinary services, and market linkages.
Payment terms vary by service. For Rubi platform transactions, payment is processed through the Rubi wallet system via M-Pesa. For Nutrigren and Kukunyumbani programs, payment schedules are established based on input supply agreements and delivery milestones.
All payments are subject to our refund policy. Farmers participating in aggregation programs receive payment within 48 hours of successful bidding and quality verification.
We collect farm performance data, production records, and location information to provide our services effectively. This data is used to generate analytics, provide recommendations, and facilitate market connections. All data collection complies with Kenyan data protection laws.
All content, software, trademarks, and materials provided through our platforms remain the property of USOMI Limited. Users are granted a limited license to use our services but may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials without written permission.
For produce aggregation services, all products are subject to quality verification by certified Commodity Supply Specialists. We reserve the right to reject produce that does not meet established quality standards. Farmers will be notified of quality issues and given guidance for improvement.
USOMI LIMITED provides services and recommendations to the best of our ability but cannot guarantee specific yields, market prices, or outcomes. We are not liable for losses due to weather conditions, market fluctuations, or factors beyond our control. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for services rendered.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activities, or misuse our platforms. Users may terminate their accounts at any time by contacting our support team, subject to completion of any pending transactions.
We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notifications. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising from these terms or use of our services shall be resolved through arbitration in Nairobi, Kenya, in accordance with Kenyan arbitration procedures.
